Inside & Out Home Inspection is licensed in the State of Connecticut. The owner, Richard Westervelt, has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked in engineering & management positions in the utility boiler and residential & commercial heating boiler fields. Sara Westervelt is the Business Manager & assists on inspections. Sara & Rich owned an industrial wood manufacturing business for 16 years. We have inspected over 1000 buildings including homes dating back to 1680.

We are very familiar with electrical, plumbing, hydronic heating, air conditioning, water heating systems of all types and building construction. Rich & his wife have owned 1812 & 1906 colonial homes both of which required extensive restoration & renovation. They are familiar with the problems of older homes.
